StrongKids Halloween 2026

The SPOOKtacularly popular StrongKids Halloween returns for its TENTH edition Saturday, October 17th!  The competition will be held from 12:00-2:00pm(ish). Finish time is a conservative estimate depending on registrations and events, in last year’s competition younger kids were finished by 1:30 and older kids by 2!

Bring the kids for a great time competing, showing and testing their true strength… and since it’s Halloween, in costume! Kids being strong, being active, and most importantly- having a great time. Viking and Halloween-themed prizes and medals for 1st through 3rd, as well as Halloween treats and contest shirts (while supplies last)!

Age groups are as follows… 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, and 11-12 years.  Events and challenges will be increasingly scaled to make them truly age appropriate for the StrongKids!!!

We will be competing in 4 kid-friendly strongman events, with a bit of a Halloween flair!

EVENTS

1. Dawn of the Deadlift Medley! – A StrongKids Halloween Classic, StrongKids will have a series of increasingly challenging deadlifts (which could be Kettlebells, Barbells, Trap Hex Bars, etc)! When StrongKids get to the last deadlift, they will use their remaining time limit to get as many reps as possible!

2. Medicine Ball Load Medley! – Another absolute classic! StrongKids will first have a series of increasingly heavier medicine balls to lift onto boxes. For the final medicine ball they will be challenged to lift the ball onto the box as many times as they can, and if they have any time remaining will load the final medicine ball for reps! The most total reps wins!

3. Viking Ninja Obstacle Course! – One of the most popular parts of StrongKids classes has always been the obstacle courses, and in 2022 the obstacle course became an integral part of the StrongKids Halloween event. Get ready for running, jumping, climbing, crawling, and more!! Fastest time wins!

4. Overhead Press + Sled Push Medley! – This one’s strength and speed, just like the Vikings had to have! StrongKids will begin by pressing a weight over their heads for a certain number of reps, and as soon as they set the weight down they must push a sled down the turf! A second, heavier sled will be waiting for them there to be pushed back to the finish line! The fastest time wins (or number of implements + distance pushed if not finished)!

• The youngest StrongKids will have modified, shorter events to challenge themselves but keep it less confusing 🙂
